There are so many stupid little things you can’t afford to forget in the seminar business that you must have a checklist of things to do and bring to any event.
I’ve given you a sample in Appendix A. There is only one way to develop one. First, brainstorm everything you think you’ll need at an event. Then show that list to two or three other people. See if they can think of anything you may have forgotten.
Keep the list handy when you do your event. Write down anything that comes up while you’re doing the seminar on the sheet itself. By the time you’ve done a few you’ll have a pretty good list developed and you’ll be less apt to forget anything crucial.
Make copies for each event and check the items off as you get them done.
