Information Marketing Ethics (or lack thereof)
I just got a note from a new friend and business colleague. He told me about how he did a teleseminar series and only 3 of the many gurus who invited to speak to his group promoted the event to their list. This is typical. The info products business is packed with people who are opportunists. They will take but not give. That’s why I have just a handful of information marketers I do business with. The solution? Tell people what happened and spread the word. Eventually the liars and thieves in this business will be found out. Information marketers are at the beginning of this whole “race.” The result if that there are a lot of flakes out there. Beware.
