If you market and sell info products for a living, this post is important for you. Last year, right before Christmas, I went to the Islands for my honeymoon. YES, it WAS before the wedding, but that’s not the story here.

With my buddy and colleague, Dave Hamilton, we set out to take my site, SeminarMarketingExpert and turning it into a HIT! I wrote a LOT and Dave did his magic. After it was all over, I had a good looking site that started moving up in the search engines. The site had some really good solid content. But more importantly, DAVE did his thing. AND IT REALLY WORKED!

In a VERY competitive term: “seminar marketing” we moved up and up and up. On my computer I am now at #1 for this very competitive keyword on Google. I could not have done without David Hamilton, the WebMarketingMagican.

Not only is Dave a technical WIZ, he has also figured out the SEO puzzle.

    Fred, I have thoroughly enjoyed your insights, especially the 7 which ended today: great stuff. I shall investigat your “Cool” recomendations. I have always used godaddy.com for both the purchase of URL’s and for hosting. What do you think of them?
    I got into producing e-books and selling them online from buying “Instant Internet Income” by Jim Sheridan. I then bought Bob Bly’s “Writing E-Books For Pleasure and profit. Both good, especially Bob’s. B ut they were so upbeaqt, like nothing could go wrong. I they both misswed something out, the downside. And there is a very big one. It’s the credit card Gateway. They go by names such as First Data, Online Mart, Moneris, Beanstream. But they all have one thing in common: they are greedy and tough. They are not interested in new people starting up. And read their fine print about the many ways they can loot your current account. They have set up fees, monthly charges all on top of their cut from any sales. Some even have poor performance penalties. I was turned down by 2, Beanstream and Moneris; I was too small for them. I finally settled for Pay Pal. They have no set up fees, no monthly charges. I was up and running inside 30 minutes. Without paypal, I’d be out of it, my e-books and landing pages gathering dust. I’d like an insight from you on these gateway crooks.

    Tony, thanks for the comments! When I got started I remember having problems getting a merchant account as well. My buddy Dave Hamilton, the WebMarektingMagician (WebMarketingMagician.com) has some ways to make this happen a BIT more easily! I like your Paypal solution. Are you using the one that allows you to take ALL credit cards, not JUST Paypal? Best, Fred
