When I woke up this morning, I didn’t FEEL like writing. Anyone who sells information products will experience similar feelings on occasion. The same feeling may hold true for you regarding exercise. Sometimes you don’t FEEL like doing that either.

BUT, just like eating your vegetables, you can’t always listen to your feelings. If we did, we’d all be eating cotton candy for breakfast.

Like exercising and eating correctly, blogging numerous times a day is becoming a habit. I’ve only adopted this rigorous schedule after seeing the results. Google rankings have shot up. More people are reading this blog. In short, a lot of good things are happening as a result.

Sure, there are times when I don’t feel like writing. TOO BAD. I do it anyway. I’m sick and tired of people WHINING about things that don’t feel good. A lot of things don’t feel good but you do them for your health. In this case, it may not feel good but I do it for my WEALTH. And, my sense of mission.

My mission is to become the foremost (ethical) authority in the field of information marketing. If that is truly important to me, I’ll do whatever it takes. That means writing when I’m sick. That means speaking when I don’t feel like it. It means doing whatever it takes to get er done!

What about you? What do YOU want? What price are YOU willing to pay? Are you willing to do whatever it takes, for as long as it takes? Then YOUR chances for success are much improved. When I logged on to do this blog post I noticed that I have a total of over 750 post total on this site.

I THINK that includes archives from my INSIGHTS which go back quite a ways. Whatever. My goal, when I looked at that number, was to get to over 2,000 posts. Computing that in my head, I was thinking that at my current rate of 3 or so posts daily, I could get there in just over 15 months.

Sounds like a lot of time, but not really if you’re in this for the long haul.

What are YOU willing to do to make your business work? Are you willing to do what it takes? Many of the people in YOUR field are not. You have a tremendous opportunity to fill the void. To do what other people aren’t willing to do. What will it take for YOU in your field? I’m not certain, but I know that DISCIPLINE is at least part of the answer.

I know it is for me. And, sometimes, I don’t want to write. I don’t want to exercise. I don’t want to eat my vegetables. Well . . . . tough S**T!! If you want to succeed, sometimes you just have to do it!
