Writing content to create your information products and to market them online is something we’ve discussed here on my blog quite a bit. But your writing not the only place you’ll be needing it. In reality, it’s all about content when you write and when you speak as well. It’s all content, all the time!
One of my joint venture partners, Avish Parashar, blogged about the importance of content a while back, and I thought he made some excellent points:
“If you want people to find you, you need to have your stuff out there. If you want to be perceived as the expert on your topic, you need a lot of content in a variety of forms. If you want to be a thought leader, you need to keep innovating and creating new content. If you want to stay fresh, you need to keep forcing yourself to generate new material.
In short, you need to be a content machine!”
But somehow we have to achieve our writing goals without SOUNDING like a machine or a robot, and if you’ve seen some of the low-quality content filling up space on the web then you know what I mean.
