Organizing Your Day To Create Information Products
If I’ve heard one single issue more than any other in my career of creating and teaching other how to create information products it’s the familiar refrain, “I just don’t have time…” No big surprise, is it? Success in building your info marketing business (or ANY business) is primarily a function of organizing your day to create information products. That’s where it all starts.
I have a routine that works for me, and, perhaps more importantly, I have a habit pattern that is working for me. It is foundational to my success. I have confidence in that, so I don’t have to spend a lot of time shopping around for new products or programs to organize my day for me.
Are you looking for the perfect software or reminder system to get you on track? Well, there are some really good ones out there, and I’m sure you’ll find the one that’s perfect for you eventually.
But in the meantime, just set a schedule and stick to it. I don’t care if it involves Post-It Notes on your bathroom mirror or the techie apps I blogged about recently. Just pick something and do it. Everyday.
Getting on track and staying on track is not a mysterious process. If you REALLY want to do it you WILL do it. When you REALLY want to eat half a pizza you eat it, right? You have to want organization as much as you want pizza, or whatever tempts you. You have to CRAVE organization and then it will be easy.
