Yesterday I did one of my “regular” meetings for my information marketing proteges. Anyone can listen in on these each week. All you have to do is REGISTER. I started talking about something that I REALLY believed in and noticed that the “passion level” in my voice went way up.
Most professional speakers will try to deliberately raise their voices to make a point. To me, this seems like a contrived way to operate. In my case, I let the passion create itself from within. I don’t try and speak passionately. IF I’m passionate about a topic, it will be REFLECTED in how I speak.
WHEN I get this way, people sit up and take notice. I’ve seen the difference in the results. When I do hit on something that pushes that passion button within me, people really listen.
If I were you, I would spend my time blogging and doing tele-seminars ONLY in areas where you have this level of passion. Passion like this can never be conjured up just for the money. Or at least it can’t with me. Let your interests drive what you speak about to your niche. This will make it easier for you to create this passion from within.
Passion when you’re selling info products is crucial to your audience buying into and believing what you are talking about.

Hi Fred,
I couldn’t agree with you more, except to say that passion is what really makes people successful. When you can’t wait to wake up in the morning because you’re so passionate about what you are about to share or create, it makes all the difference in the world.
That goes for all products and services. So if anyone wants to know what they should do with themselves to earn a living, remind them to follow their passion. You certainly have done that.
Best,
Ted
Ted, thanks for the comment, but that’s not quite what I MEANT. I don’t think PASSION is what makes people successful. In fact, I’d have to say almost the opposite. I’ve seen a lot of passionate people who do NOT take action. Passion without ACTIVITY is WORTHLESS! Passion that RESULTS from ACTIVITY is WORTHWHILE!
