If there is one thing that is good at taking the intimidation out of information marketing it is having a little (or a big) success right off the bat. And how you define success has a lot to do with how this works.
I define success as making money doing things that help other people achieve success. I am not in charge of determining exactly how you define success at this point in your information marketing career. You may be thrilled to get your first website online, or to get your first thousand contacts in your opt-in list.
On the other hand, you may be shooting for 2 billion in revenue, which will represent a 15% increase over last year. See what I mean? At any given moment the readers of my blog all have individual definitions of success.
What banishes intimidation for you is not going to be the same as the next guy or gal. My job as an information marketing coach is to identify where you are in your process and boost you up to the next level. And then the next, and the next, etc.
I can tell you that I do basically the same thing with everyone I coach, even though they interact with me at completely different stages in their info marketing life. I help them see the next step and what they need to do to go forward. That’s it. It’s not complicated, but some people are still intimidated.
