Hi folks!
Over the past several years I’ve been doing a lot
of teaching and a lot of information product
creation, development and marketing.
One of the things I’ve learned is that regretfully,
only a small fraction of people actually DO anything
with the teaching I provide. I suspect there are
a number of reasons, but here is my short list:
1. Lazy [...]

Reality Sells! Ask David Cook!
(It’s also the title of a VERY good book by Bill Guertin
by the same name – look for it at:

If you were watching American Idol (as I did every
night it was on), you saw two very different finalists.
One who seemed robotic and programmed and the
other who seemed 100% real and sincere. [...]
Terry Dean just came out to record two products with me
here in Las Vegas. We just finished one today on Internet
marketing and we’ll be doing another one tomorrow on
a topic his list asked for: How to Do Great Interviews.
Terry and I are alike in a couple of ways:
1. We’re both pretty simple guys with simple [...]
You’ve got a product, you’ve got a website, now you need
VISITORS!

Earlier today I recorded another program with my

I sat in on a number of presentations in addition to
doing my own. While sitting there, it made me think

In my mind there are two PRIMARY ways that people
teach [...]

stop this kind of activity is to:
1. Don’t buy
2. Unsubscribe
Normal, rational marketers when they see their order
rates drop and their unsubscribe rates skyrocket will

To be a successful information marketer you have to find
and generate revenue from multiple sources. This allows
you to diversify your income so that you’re not dependent
on one, or just a couple of cash cows.
Here is a list of my own revenue sources:
1. Speaking/Seminars
I make money from speaking in the traditional sense. I
sometimes get paid to [...]
How to Approach others for JVs
I get approached constantly with offers to do
JVs. Many from people I have never heard of and
many who have not even READ my ezine. Amazing!
A few suggestions if you are thinking about
approaching someone to do some kind of joint
venture:
1. READ their stuff!
Sounds obvious, but few if anyone does this.
People approach [...]
