I do a FEW things very well. I do many things poorly.
I consider myself to be a very good teacher. I’m also
pretty good at creating, designing and selling info
products, for myself and others.
One of MANY things I’m not particularly good at is
fully milking ALL of the profits out of products that I
create.
So, I’m asking for YOUR help!
Here’s what I’m looking for. I’ve got a number of
products that have HUGE potential. I’d like to find
a few people who would like to help me MAXIMIZE
the profits from these already created products.
Here’s an example. I’ve got a number of products
for indie filmmakers. I’ve created these products
over the years and they are very good. They are
still very valuable to an up and coming filmmaker.
The problem?
I haven’t put as much time into them as I should.
Why? I’ve been producing SO MANY products for
myself and my clients that some of them get lost
in the shuffle.
That’s where YOU come in.
I’m looking for some people to work with me to
help make these products make money for BOTH
of us.
It’s not necessary that you have a particular background
in the field where the products have been produced.
What’s MUCH MORE important is that you are willing
to learn and work at helping to make them sell.
What’s in it for you? In exchange for YOU doing the
work with my help and guidance, I’ll give you 50%
of the profit. For how long? For as long as the products
keep selling.
You’ll learn how to do information marketing by actually
DOING IT. What a concept! The nice thing is that you
won’t have to create products from scratch (I’ve done
that for you) or figure out HOW to market them. I’ll be
giving you all the steps to take to make it happen.
After you do this for a ONE YEAR period you’ll KNOW
how to do it for yourself and should be able to easily
replicate the system for ANY product you like.
To summarize:
1. I have some great existing products that need
someone to help them sell.
2. I’ll guide you every step of the way as to what
to do.
3. You’ll do the work.
4. We will split the profits 50-50.
5. You will commit to doing this for a year.
6. You will then be free to continue making money
with these products AND have a system that you
can use again and again with other products you
find or create yourself.

What ONE Thing Do YOU Want People to Do?
Take a look at your website. Ask yourself this
key question: What ONE thing do you want
people to do when they come to your site?
This is not a question where an fluffy answer
like: “I want them to use my services” will suffice.
That is the end result of an action you want
people to take. What I want you to ask yourself
is what ONE simple action do you want people
to take when they go to your site?
It will usually come down to one of two things:
1. Buy a product or service
2. Opt-in to your list (so they eventually buy
your products and/or services)
Is your site set up that way? If not, you’re WASTING
visitors. That’s right – WASTING visitors. And, if you
don’t get a new visitor to give you their email address
on the first go around, the chances are LOW that
they will come back!
Sad, but true. YOU may be wasting traffic. We all
spend so much time, energy and effort to get them
there and then you WASTE it. Not good!
Read this one! It’s a DOOSEY!
So I get a “friend” request from someone on Facebook.
The name looked familiar so I Googled them. Turns
out it was someone who had spoken to me on
numerous occasions. It’s been a least six months since
the last contact.
When I had originally corresponded with her,
the gist of the emails were about trying to get me
involved with some program where I would get a
piece of the action. I had a few conversations with
her by phone and then the promises made were never
fulfilled.
SHE NEVER DID WHAT SHE SAID SHE WOULD DO.
Then the friend request. I emailed her directly and
asked her “what was up?” I told her that I would have
a hard time OKing a friend request from someone who
exhibited flakey behavior.
I then get a response that she had some major traumas
going on in her life. I responded that a quick email or
phone call is pretty easy even if someone died or
got divorced. A one line email or 5 second voicemail
would have been fine.
But no, apparently I was in the wrong for pointing this
out. She yelled at me via email a few more times. The
last email I got was how she now realized “why people
HATE me in the industry.”
She’s 1000% right!
Some people DO hate me. The RIGHT people! The
people who are crooks and can’t stand people who
stand up and call BULLSHIT on people who screw
other people.
I’m GLAD these people hate me.
I’m also glad that my friend at DOJ tells me that some
people are being investigated. I THINK, but have no
proof that, the latest furor over testimonials may be
the BEGINNING of the process.
Am I upset that some people “hate” me? HA! I
actually RELISH this kind of stuff. To be hated by
the “right” people is something I crave.
The ONLY people I care about are the legitimate folks
who sell legitimate products to legitimate buyers.
A formula for making LOTS of money? Not so much.
A formula for staying out of jail? You betcha. The only
people who “hate” me are those who are pulling all
kinds of shenanigans. Many of them should be locked
up for the kind of crap they pull.
My only question for this woman is this? If she had
found out why so many people hate me in the industry,
why did she want me as a “friend” on Facebook?
Pardon me for asking people to at least exhibit
LOGICAL behavior. I must have taken leave of
my senses! But then again, LOGIC is in short supply
these days!
Want GREAT Results? Make Things PUBLIC!
Years ago I used to do seminars around the country
for CareerTrack. At one point they were the
largest public seminar company in the country.
I did work with them for 4 years or so. One of the
things I LOVED about how they did things was
the way they handled speaker ratings.
Every time I spoke to a group, I handed out evaluations.
They were sent into the home office and the data was
fed into the system. Speakers were rated on both
platform skills and content.
Those results were then made PUBLIC to all the
other speakers. I LOVE this idea. I would have further
encouraged the people who ran the place to have
made those results known to people looking to sign
up for an event.
If I were running the place now, I would allow prospective
customers to go online and look at instructor ratings
before signing up for an event.
Why? It only makes sense. Whenever I buy ANYTHING
online these days, I follow the same progression. I
Google the name of the product or service and add
the word “ratings” to the search.
I’m looking for any and everyone I can find who has
rated the product or service I’m thinking of buying.
What better way to get an unbiased view of things
before making a purchase decision!
When customers have more information, they can
make better decisions. Makes sense!
This concept/philosophy holds true in every area
one can imagine! The more info you can give people,
the better. They will appreciate it and you will sell
more.
