I just got back from NYC where I did yet another program with Bob Bly. This is one you are DEFINITELY going to want to get.
Bob Bly, in addition to being a good friend is a PROLIFIC author. He has over 70 books that he has written and had published with “traditional” publishers.
When Bob and I first met I kept bugging him to let me show him MY system to create and sell info products. About 18 months ago he got started in earnest. Bob is a very bright guy. He is also smart enough to know what he doesn’t know.
When it came to selling info products online, I became Bob’s mentor. As successful as he had been in the traditional publishing field, he was willing to listen to me as it related to selling info online.
Bob has an engineering degree. He understands that process is essential to success. He listened to what I told him to do and HE DID IT! Big time!
We have frequently discussed if he would have been more or less succesful with his online endeavors had he not had a following and a list in his own field of copywriters and other entrepreneurial types.
He says it’s a toss up. He MAY have even been MORE successful he contends had he not gone after his existing list of people who know and LOVE him. Bob is a very likeable (read lovable) guy!
His point is that he feels he could have been AS successful starting out right where you are . . . perhaps. From SCRATCH!
Bob is now netting about $5,000 a week in the info products business using the system that I taught him. He does NOT have to be the only one using this system. You can too.
We sat down in Wednesday at my apartment in NYC and spent 4 hours discussing the ins and outs of information product creation and marketing.
I will BET YOU that you too can use this system to get your own info product business up and running fast, and on a shoestring budget!
Here is the complete outline of what we covered:

How has the Internet affected the market for information products — made it better or worse? [zero manufacturing cost, zero shipping cost, star trek transporter delivery, pdf mp3′ zero cost DM marketing]
–Is selling information online still a good business or is it now overcrowded? If the latter, is it too late to get into it?

If you purchase it before Friday, August 31st at 5PM PST (and you are one of the first 100 people to take me up on this offer), you get the program for just $77. I’ll even waive the shipping fees.
BUT. you must be one of the first 100 people AND order before Tuesday.
The information you’ll get in this program is amazing. Bob lays out for you EXACTLY HOW he has generated $5k a month.
There are a load of people on the internet who want to convince you that making a million dollars in a week is easy.
This is a load of crap.
I’ve been selling information products for close to 23 years now I’ve seen a lot of people come and go. Some go to jail. Remember some of the real estate gurus. A number of them have been enjoying federal housing. If not at this moment, certainly in the past.
I want to make money without LYING. What a concept.
Let me remind you of a client of mine who told me the story of a well known guru who was asked about how to get testimonials. The question was asked at one of his “upper level” Zinconium groups.
Will they stop already with the use of precious metals to name their programs?
It was a small group of about 10 people and when one of the members asked about how to get testimonials another member of the group shouted: “Just make them up like the rest of us do.”
There was SILENCE from the bigshot guru. I think they refer to this as a “sin” of omission (not commission).
If you can’t get great testimonials from the products you produce, the world is telling you something. Your product SUCKS! Go back and redo it. If you have a great product you’ll have an EASY time getting people to tout it for you.
Everyone makes choices in their personal and professional lives. I was “IN” with the group that did all the heipmeistering. It made me nauseous. I couldn’t stand to be around them.
Net result? Less money, but better sleep at night.
You too have a choice. Throw your lot in with the fast talkers and heipmeisters or do it the “right” way. The way that actually gives people the truth. The way that will make you less money but will reduce your chances of ending up in a federally run housing facility.
IT IS YOUR CHOICE!
About three years ago now I went on a short cruise with Roger Ebert and Richard Roper.
The first film we saw was called “Garden State”. Before the movie started both Richard and Roger both said they thought the movie reminded them of “The Graduate.”
I have always been a fan of THAT movie so I was excited to see that one.
After the first movie was screened, I asked the first question out of the audience of 225 or so people. I thought the movie STUNK and asked Roger: “Did we see the SAME movie?”
His response was:
“No . . . . . we all see our OWN movie.”
Pretty profound if you think about it. Everyone has their own taste, their own ideas, their own feelings about just about everything.
Moral of this story to me? Some people will love you and what you do and for others you won’t be their cup of tea. Who cares? Don’t try and adapt yourself and your personality to the market. Be who you are and let the people that you like get attracted to you.
If you haven’t heard me tell the story (and even if you have) I have to relate how I decided to spend time and money to create membership site software,
I met a guy at a mattress shop in Las Vegas who owned (or owns – it’s been a while) called TalkinBroadway.com.
He told me of his love of theatre and I explained my love of film. I then checked out his site and saw that he had pieced together the back-end of his site with Freeware. Software that costs nothing that anyone can use.
(Note to self: use freeware whenever possible.)
I decided I needed something “better” and then spent a VERY tidy sum of money putting it together. Bad idea.
I’ve since been working with my webmaster, Stanley, to put together a working piece of software for membership sites. It’s ALMOST here.
When you think of your market, make sure and ask yourself whether a software solution might work for them. In many cases the answer will be yes.
If it is, the first place to start would be rentacoder. This is where you can set up what you need and find out how much it will cost to produce by putting the project up for bid. www.RentaCoder.com
It’s what I have done successfully in the past. These folks will do projects both LARGE and SMALL. Try it with a cheap project and see how it works out for you.
More Next time!
