The Need for a MR. STUPID

Information Marketing

Can someone PLEASE call the folks at GoToMeeting.com?

These guys are advertising all over the place. Apparently they have a good service. I guess that’s true UNLESS you own a Mac!!

I spend a good bit of my expensive time STRUGGLING with this site and how to get it working.

This is where companies like these need to hire people like ME to serve as MR. STUPID! I work with technology but I react to it like YOU do. I’m not a super braniac tech guy.

Nor are MOST people who try to use a service like this or something else. A LOT of assumptions on this site. IF they had beta tested this with people like me they would have heard these questions, but NO!

Their venture capital people told them to ROLL OUT. Screw those Mac folks. Or did they even have that conversation?

UNBELIEVABLE.

Please spread the word. AND, let them know I’m available if they want to talk! HA!!

How does this relate to you and your products? Can your products be used by people like ME? People who are in actual fact . . . TECHNICAL MORONS.

Please check! If not, the STUPID police will hunt you down and make you hurt!!

Isn’t it so obvious. Apple has built right into the software so pc’s can use their cloud service. With all the pc/iPhone users, they have just totally increased their market. They are smart marketers. Go to Meeting…not so much.

Pat, I don’t know if they read my blog post but they DID call me. We spent close to an hour on the phone. They asked me all kinds of questions about how I use the system. I haven’t seen any changes yet, so maybe it was just to PACIFY me. Whatever. I think it’s a great system but NOT very intuitive to use. I wish Lynda.com would do a course on how to use it. THEN, I may be able to figure out how to make it work.

Got something to say?
