Equipment You’ll Need: High/Medium/Low*
In order to create information products, you’ll need a variety of tools. All of these tools can be “had” at a variety of price points. As a MAC guy, I have all the basic tools I need built into my laptop computer. These give me or anyone the ability to create BASIC info products quickly and inexpensively.
Let me go through a few different levels of information product production for you here. Starting first with the cheapest way to do it and then moving up.
Using my Mac, I have the ability to use GarageBand and my built-in microphone to record audio programs. I also have IMovie which will allow me to capture and edit video. The built in camera is LOUSY for this purpose, but it CAN be done.
Pages is a program that I use when working with text. I also use MS Word for a lot of written material. Both of these programs have some cost associated with them, but not a lot.
