Can You Do Information Marketing PART-TIME?

Information Marketing

There are a lot of people out there who want to sell info products. Many of them do not have the luxury of being able to do it full time. A lot of people have “regular” jobs BUT, they want to MOVE ON into selling info products.

Doing information marketing part time is possible. Many people I know who are in the business started out doing it that way. I would suggest that MOST people need to get started this way.

The next question I usually get asked is how much time is necessary to make a real GO at selling info products. The answer is that it all depends on how quickly someone wants to get to their goal. Whatever that is for them.

When people think about coming to one of my Fred Info Bootamps, I always WARN them that they shouldn’t expect overnight results. My USUAL line is that you should expect to spend somewhere between 24-48 months to replace your full time income with a similar level of income from selling info products.

Giving ANY kind of a time frame on how fast people will produce income is almost absurd. It depends on SO MANY factors that it’s often not even throwing out a number.

The real issue is how much time or how many hours you have to give to your efforts.

When I tell people that they should expect that it will take 24-48 months, I am estimating that each week they are able to devote at least 10 hours each week. That would work out to 40 hours a month or around 500 hours yearly. Two years would be AROUND 1,000 hours.

1,000 hours would be the minimum amount of time you would PROBABLY need to get an REAL info products business up and running. Anyone who tells you that you can do it “overnight” is flat out lying. Don’t believe them.

So, regardless of the amount of time you have, you’ll be able to make your computations based on a MINIMUM of 1,000 hours. Is it possible for you to do it in LESS time? Absolutely.

I would rather estimate HIGH rather than LOW when it came to numbers and figures like these.

How long has it taken you?
