Information Marketing Joint Venture Systems
Anyone who sells info products needs to understand and utilize joint ventures. I’ve seen just about every type of JV deal imaginable and there are some things that I’ve discovered that seem to work for me.
Do them right and you’ll make a lot more money and have a lot more fun.
I’ve spoken about this before, but it bears repeating.
I now have a number of serious JV partners and for ME, I’ve figured out how it works. I’d like to share with you what I’ve been doing recently and how it’s working for me.
This model MAY or MAY NOT be right for you. I think that everyone needs to figure out what works for them and their situation. For me, the model I want to describe is the only way it would or could work for me.
Since my specialty is information marketing, I try and find subject matter experts and work with them to create products for different niche markets.
I now have JVs in the fields of publishing, professional speaking, self storage, seminar marketing, and a few other fields.
In all of the fields, there was an understanding that both parties were bringing some essential elements to the table. Each of the partners I work with have unique talents in their field.
They bring their knowledge of their particular fields and I bring a “template” for marketing and selling information. In every niche I’m involved with the deals are set up as 50-50. If not, one party will feel like the BOSS and the other, the WORKER.
In all of my JV deals, I always have my partners collect the money and distribute the funds. This way, I can NEVER be accused of taking advantage of one of my partners. After all, THEY are collecting the CASH!
This is the way it works for best for me.
I know that all kinds of folks do all kinds of different JV deals. That’s well and good, but this is the only kind of JV deal that I’ll do. Full stop.
