Build Your Info Products Business

This 2 day program shows you everything you need to know about starting and building a successful info products business. Nothing is left to chance.

As an information marketer, I think Facebook is pretty cool. The only problem is that many people have been CLAIMING that I’m going to be able to make a lot of money using Facebook. Some people making money using Facebook, but I have to be honest, I’M NOT ONE OF THEM!

I always notice something whenever I post something on FB. Whenever it’s a post about something of a PERSONAL nature, I get TONS of responses. Whenever I put something up having to do with business, SILENCE. Not a peep out of my PEEPS!

How about with you? Same thing? Thought so. If not, tell me what you’re doing. I want to know.

The idea that I can eventually access 500 million people is pretty cool. If only a small percentage of those folks have ANY interest in selling info products and information marketing, I’ll be rich! NOT!

Unless someone can show me data, for now, I’ll look at Facebook as a really cool place to keep in touch with all my high school buddies I grew up with in Manila. It’s also a great place to share pics with new friends and stay in touch with them and what’s going on in THEIR lives.

As far as Facebook being the next greatest way to make a killing on the internet? NOT SO MUCH

If someone can show me what I’m missing, I’d be grateful. Just let me know right here. I’ll publicly confess my stupidity and be willing to learn from you. Whomever YOU are!

While I also don’t get a lot of comments when I post articles or comments about my business (job searching/resumes) vs. personal, funny observations, I will say that I’ve gotten business out of Facebook.
People see the articles I post and the jobsearching tips I provide (probably no more than 3 per week), and see me as an expert. When they’re ready to look for help, I’m the first person they turn to and the trust is built in because I’ve proven myself over time to them.
So it’s more like a dripping faucet than a funnel, but worth my time.

Melanie, this is interesting, but I see no PROOF. I need causation, not correlation to be convinced.

    You know what, Fred?

I think I’m missing something, too.

I have challenged several so called social media experts to give me case studies with actual ROI’s and NOT ONE has provided anything. Not even 1 !

Finally, once expert concluded that social media isn’t a marketing tool but a way to take a ‘take the pulse of your market.’

    I think…
    1. FB is a great great PR case study. Promoting all their successes subtly promotes FB
    2. It’s the newest, soft, fluffy service trade that practitioners can hide behind whishy washy results and brush ROI under the rug.

I didn’t swallow the red pill, I guess.

Jason, this is the “dirty little secret” that social media folks are hiding from all of us. DATA!!! It’s like advertising in the old days. Do it because you SHOULD! No tracking, no statistics, no NOTHING. FB is fun for connecting with friends. As soon as I can see REAL results, I’ll let everyone know! Don’t hold your breath folks!

Got something to say?
