Last night I almost “pulled an all-nighter.” If you are marketing and selling information and really ENJOY it, I suspect you may have had a similar experience. I was so PUMPED about certain things last night, that I couldn’t go to sleep.

The closest I can come to providing you with EXACTLY what the feeling is/was like is the night before Christmas feeling when you were a kid. Remember that? For me, at least, it was virtually impossible to sleep. Why? Because of all of the excitement of opening presents the next day.

If you don’t occasionally get this feeling about YOUR business, you’re in the WRONG business.

If you don’t get super-psyched and/or super-excited about what you’re doing, you need to find a different line of work. I really believe that feeling this way about what you do is a true sign that you’re doing what you SHOULD be doing in life.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m no NEW AGE, woo-woo kind of a guy. I’m a pretty fact-oriented business person. YET, I know that not being able to sleep at night is a pretty good indication that you’re REALLY excited about what you do and are probably on the RIGHT track.

The UNIVERSE is telling you so!! LOL!!

It’s now about 10 o’clock. I’m sitting in a Starbucks and I’m a little tired. But, it doesn’t really matter. Last night was worth it.

(PS – I wrote this on Friday morning. Someone walked in for a meeting and I put it off until tonight, Sunday.)
