There are always new products and services being offered when you sell info products. A few weeks ago, I noticed an intriguing offer on Fiver. This site  let’s you buy or sell products or services for $5. What got my attention was a service that would TWEET whatever line you wanted to their large list every day for a month.

The cost was $5. So, I thought I couldn’t lose that much.

Yes, this is an affiliate link and if you buy from them, I make a few dollars. But, here is what I did and here is my data.

First thing I did was set up an ADTRACKER in WebMarketingMagic. If you don’t set up a way to track your efforts, you’re throwing money into the garbage. I directed people to my page: FredGleeck.com/ebooks. My goal is to get as many people as possible to download a selection of some of my best books for free.

To date, I’ve gotten 568 people to click on the link and go to the page where I allow people to download the books. To date, I have not gotten any sales. This doesn’t bother me. I’m more interested in getting as many people as possible to download my books, think I’m a “genius” and then buy from me at some point in the future.

What I want to impress upon you is that you need to track your results. No matter how inexpensive the service is that you’re tracking.

In this case, how will I measure results? Since I spent $5 on this service, all I need is an order that totals more than that amount to get me excited. I’m not expecting an order to come in right way. Why? Because by sending these prospects to my page to download the books, I can’t expect results immediately.

I am saying that I think YOU should test this for your product or service. After all, the prices are so low that it makes generating a return on your investment pretty easy. Make sure that wherever you send people that you try and capture their email address OR give them something for free (like I’ve done) that has a ton of bounceback offers imbedded in it.

I’d be very interested in what YOUR results are when you use the service. Did it work? Did it not? Make sure and track your results and share them with everyone here.
